you want to tan furs, woolskins, and hair-on skins or make leather from your skins, these kits will produce an excellent tan. All types of skins can be tanned equally well at economic rates. Kit contains complete instructions with enough formula to tan approximately 85 lbs. of prepared hides or skins. The ideal kit for inexperienced tanners.

Pro Utility Tanning

This kit is designed as an inexpensive kit to teach you to tan skins. The kit will tan light animal or reptile skins into quality furs or leather. Complete easy-to-follow instructions are included along with enough formula to tan 15 lbs. of wet skins.

Rittel’s EZ 2000 Tanning Kit

An all-around kit for tanning
all skins. It produces white
full leather that’s soft and stretchy. It’s an excellent choice for the taxidermist or home tanner. Whether it's trophy skins, doing rug work, taxidermy capes and skins or sewing garments, this produces an excellent skin! Each kit contains: 10oz. of EZ 100, 8 oz. of Saftee-Acid, 1 pint of ProPlus Tanning Oil and a complete set of Rittel’s Tanning instructions.

Tanning Kit

Produces a genuine high
quality leather. This kit contains no Glycerin, Alcohol or Alum. For tanning tough snakeskins into soft, supple leathers. No loss of the markings or complicated formulas-this kit is easy to use. Ideal choice for the leather craftsman, who demands the best in real leather for making wallets, belts, hatbands, and boots. Safe to use and non-polluting. Contains: ½ pint of Kwik-tan, ½ pint of tanning oil, and complete step-by-step tanning instructions. One kit will tan 3 lbs. of snake skins-enough for 10-12 snake skins 4’ long.

Hide Tanning Formula

Pre-mixed and ready to use. This liquid
formula is per fact for deer hide tanning.
Will tan hair-on to make a deerskin rug
or mount, or hair-off to make buckskin leather. Tans all fir skins-rabbit, raccoon, fox, coyote, bear, beaver, squirrel and etc. Also sheep, cowhide, elk, moose, even snakeskin! Very easy to use and produces a soft, supple, Indian style tan in 4-5 days.

Dakota Snake Tanning Kit

Excellent proven formula that leaves your hide soft and pliable for hatbands and belts. Kits includes enough formula to tan approximately 25 large skins.

Pro Tanning Formula

Will make an effective tanning solution that is ready to use. One pint of concentrate will tan about 15 lbs. of prepared skins. Will make soft furs or strong, pliable leather. Instructions included.

Kwik 'N EZE Tanning Solution

Practical, economical & easy to use. Requires only the addition of salt & water. No acids, safe to handle on all types of skins. Produces a soft, supple & white leather.

Pro Leather Lube: Prevents leather from drying stiff and allows breaking with a tanning knife to soften leather. Skins treated this way can't be later damaged with water. No other leather dressing or preservatives need to be applied.

De-Hairing Compound : For de-hairing of any hides, regardless of the tan you wish to use. Superior to a straight lime bath, in that it prevents swelling and spoilage of hides while they are de-hairing.

DL 100: A de-liming agent in crystal form. A great substitute for Lactic or Boric Acid. Ideal for individuals wishing to avoid working with a caustic or poisonous substance. 1 pound sufficient for 20 gallons of solution.

Krome Tan: NO doubt the most effective leather making process ever offered to the non-professional tanners. Many home tanners have found it easier to use with their home type of equipment. Leaves the hide in strong, soft, pliable state.

Tanol (Aluminum Sulphate): Used in tanning all kinds of light furs and hides with the hair on or off. Superior to alum, and acid or other old-fashioned methods of tanning on that it is less expensive and produces a finer, more pliable leather on the flesh side.

Alum Ammonium (Powdered): Is one of the oldest methods of tanning furs and hides. Leaves hides and leather a snowy white color when finished but is very difficult to break and soften.

Bark Tan: A light brown powdered extract that produces nice soft leather. A vegetable-tanning agent not recommended for tanning whites or light colors. Also an excellent dye for dyeing hides a light or dark brown or buckskin color.

Borax-Plus: Comes in powder form and is most effective as a preservative and used as an acid neutralizer after pickling tanning bath.

Saftee-Acid: Excellent pickling acid that’s both environmentally safe and to handle! If spilled, will kill the vegetation and decompose into fertilizer and the vegetation will grow back. You will use less. Replaces Sulphuric, Oxalic, Formic and Acetic.

DRW Solution: An excellent relaxer for dried skins, for washing fur, hair or wool free from dirt, grime and lanolin. No degreaser can compare to its results of removing stubborn grease.

Neats Foot Oil: One of the finest oils on the market. Used for conditioning and breaking leather after tanning. This is a special formula made especially for the tanning industry. Can be used to waterproof and preserve leathers, boots and etc. Instructions included.

ProPlus Oil: Light colored and is practically odorless. This one goes a long way. An excellent choice for taxidermy and furs.

Tanning Thermometer: Used to test the temperature on tanning and pickling solutions. Has a range of 10-230° F. Dependable and accurate.

Baume Scale Hydrometer: Measure the specific gravity of your alum tanning solution. This is a custom made scale for alum tanners 0-12 scale.
